Brian Joseph

I was a member of the Linguistics Department at OSU for 45 years, retiring in 2024; in my last 27 years I had a joint appointment in the Department of Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures as the Kenneth E. Naylor Professor of South Slavic Linguistics. I remain active in my field of Linguistics and am still advising Ph.D. students (3 at the moment, as of Autumn 2026).
