Stef Scimeca

In her fourth year, Stef is a PhD Candidate and ABD. Her dissertation is aims to understand how feminists denounce and resist rape culture's normalized gender-based violence in Italy from the 1970s until present. She also considers the same questions in the French context.

Her interests are not limited to the modern period as she enjoys exploring these topics in Early Modern texts, too. Big shout out to Veronica Franco (1546-1591).
