Puja Batra-Wells is Associate Director of Global Arts + Humanities | Cross-Disciplinary Research Exchange. A scholar of American material cultures, public history, and folklore, she studies informal economies and modes of cultural display and presentation. She is co-editor of Archival Entanglements—a multidisciplinary argument for engaging the archive as a generative site for critique and reimagination in the arts and humanities—as well as The Folklorist in the Marketplace, a volume examining the intersections between folklore and economics. She holds a doctorate in comparative studies.
